I am the former teacher of a future doctor! I can't even believe it. What is even better is that this student is also a vlogger, which I happen to think is super cool because she isn't just getting ready to treat patients, she is putting her story out there to benefit others and encourage them to journey with her. I think in that way she and I are kindred spirits because that is what I hope I do with this little blog.
Anyway, I couldn't be prouder!
Her name is Sandra Coker, and she is a super intelligent, gorgeous, driven, African American young woman who is vlogging about her experiences in med school. If you want to see her videos, click on the image above. You will also find her contact info there.
I hope you will consider sharing her YouTube channel with others you know, especially with African American students you know, and in particular your female African American students. I love that Sandra is sharing her knowledge and experience, but more that she is setting the example of what potential young African American women can achieve. You go girl! Love it!
I know this has NOTHING to do with language teaching, but God has given me a platform to raise others up along the way of my journey. I hope you will help me do the same!
Happy Coaching, Friends!
