Learning Target:  I can describe a typical home and compare it with other homes.

Lesson Focus: Using home/neighborhood related vocabulary to begin to communicate with others about where we live.

Activities:
  1. Vocabulary Organizer - Afuera de la casa (labeling)
  2. Speaking Practice - My home & neighborhood
  3. Writing Practice - Mi hogar - Grading Writing (writing about our neighborhoods, homes and places nearby)

  • Vocabulary Organizer must be picked up in class
