The Conversation Gauge
Keep a whole class in the TL with this powerpoint. Show it on the screen or monitor. When you hear English, take points away. If they redeem themselves by using some amazing target language, add points. Fully editable in Powerpoint.

Speaking Strips
Establishing a classroom atmosphere in which the target language is the default language for you and your students is a challenging task. Sometimes our students need incentive to use the language with their classmates when we are acting as facilitators. These strips are great for holding students accountable for using the target language as well as giving you an opportunity to create a performance based daily grade. Use them with groups or individuals. It is your choice!

The Conversation Circle Rubric
Would you like to get your students to not only participate in, but lead their own class discussions? This rubric provides you and your students a template to follow to generate the criteria you all agree they should be held accountable for so that you can sit back and enjoy seeing them own their own learning.
